Last year we went with the C's to the Ypsilanti Beer Festival & had a great time. We tried to go again this year, but it was the same weekend as the Ann Arbor Art Fair -- which draws hundreds of thousands of visitors to the area. I wasn't interested in the extra traffic, waiting hours in line at restaurants or staying in a hotel more than 10 minutes from the festival. So we decided to have our own beer tasting. With friends coming from out of town, the weekend we picked just happened to be Todd's 43rd birthday. Fun! We tasted 8 beers, had G from Eastman Party Store come to chat about all the beers & lots of food!
