Rita has been taking dance at Dean/Black Dance Studio since we moved to Midland. Each year there is a weekend with a Friday night rehearsal, a performance on Saturday & another performance on Sunday. This makes for a very long but fun for Rita weekend. My sister Sarah is Rita's make-up artist. She flew in from Orlando on Thursday. The only good thing about the rehearsal is that Rita gets to see most of the dances. There is a small screen in the waiting area behind stage during the performances but she loves seeing it live. As with most little girls, she is in awe of the older girls who jump, twirl & smile all at the same time! This year Rita took Jazz, Tap & Ballet. It is really remarkable how much the kids improve each year. The theme this year was Electric Storm & Come Together so some fabulous Beatles music -- makes the two & a half hours go by a little faster!
Happy to be wearing make up
Beautiful Ballerina
Check out that posture!
