It is hard to believe that Rita is already eight! How does this happen? Rita was lucky enough to have a scheduled day off of school on her birthday. So we woke up to cake truffles for breakfast & a few presents. Then Cloudy & Gampy came to take the birthday girl to lunch. More presents and some cake! I am sorry I don't have more pictures...

It is hard to believe Rita is 8, although I had her at 9 for a short time! We always had "the blowing of candles by the wrong child" syndrome in our household. Good thing birthday candles don't burn quickly! Yummy looking cake! So adorable!
