Wildpark

Today started out to be a rainy, chilly day -- not much different from other days lately.  Around noon it started to clear up so we headed to the Wildpark.  I have read about this park having animals but didn't know much else about it.  We took the tram & walked through the woods past a fabulous playground.  We decided to save that for the way back.  The park was amazing.  Great walking paths, some hills, lots of animals & more playgrounds.  It seems like the Germans really like their playgrounds!  We saw lots of different types of deer, some wild pigs, muskrats, a fox & a raccoon.  It reminded me of the CNC in Midland minus the fabulous staff, visitor center & summer camps!  You are allowed to feed the animals so next time we will be more prepared.  On the way back we went to the big playground to burn off a little more energy.

See how close we are?  Some of the deer would walk over the posts & wander the paths or sniff out more food
