Today was our first picnic of the season. My friend, Maha, organized a small group of us to meet up along the Rhein. She would be bringing a grill but requested that someone else bring one. Now I know this might sound funny but most people live in an apartment & aren't allowed to grill on the balcony. This rule is very specific in our lease (along with no showering before 7am - what?). So we kept a look out for a small portable grill. We don't have a car so it needs to be able to be carried fairly easily. Along with the charcoal, grill tools, blanket, frisbee/ball & food. This will be a work in progress but I think our first time out was very successful! The weather was perfect! Thanks, Maha!
