What is this?

Sometimes learning German makes perfect sense.  The word might even be the same in English or look similar enough that it doesn't take much brain power to remember.  However, this isn't always the case.  Check out these pictures:

 

A book of stamps, right?  The German word from stamp is die Briefmarken.  You can even see the words Market Set.  But guess what?  There is no word for book of stamps.  I even asked my German tutor to explain it to me.  No real explanation except to ask for 10 stamps & you will get the Marken Set.  Good to know!
