Happy Memorial Day, fellow Americans. Today is a public holiday in Germany too. Although I am not sure why we have the day off. Today we went to the Wuppertal zoo. This is a beautiful zoo with gorgeous trees & lots of hills. It was another terrific day so we were happy to spend it outside. Rita invited her friend Renee to join us. Renee speaks only German so it was hilarious for us to listen to our two kids speak most of the day in German. Lots of animals had babies this spring - they are so cute!
